Ernie Verslues is President and CEO of MFA Incorporated. Raised on a farm outside Jefferson City, Mo., he earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy in 1983 from Central Missouri State University. He worked as an auditor in Kansas City before beginning his MFA career in 1987 as Manager of Tax and Local Accounting Services. He also served as controller in MFA’s Agri Services Division, Regional Manager in Region 2, corporate controller and vice president and Chief Financial Officer before he was named to his current position in 2015.
